Welcome to 3Keel! How has your day been so far?
Very good, thank you. I came to the London Office in order to be in the same space as other 3Keel workers. This evening we are having a social and hopefully the weather will be good enough for us to sit on the rooftop.
What have you started working on?
At the moment I have been introduced to three projects happening with a range of clients, which the resilient agriculture team is working on. I have started doing research about different environmental impact tools and food systems.
What are you looking forward to most about working for 3Keel?
I am looking forward to working with extremely knowledgeable and friendly colleagues who come from different educational backgrounds and all share similar values. Understanding and improving food systems has been a topic that I have been drawn to for a number of years and I am keen to explore complex topics with different clients.
Who or what inspired you to work in sustainability?
Since choosing to study geography at higher education I have appreciated the need of looking at issues from an environmental, economic and social point of view. I am keen to continue developing my knowledge and contribute to finding solutions which build a more resilient environment and supportive society. I also worked on a biodynamic farm for a couple of months, seeing first hand the benefits and challenges of closed-loop farming.
When you’re not working, what do you like to do?
In my spare time I enjoy doing sports, including dance, football, running, and sailing. I also really like hiking, generally being in nature and doing yoga. Being with my family and friends is also a high priority for me.
