Welcome to 3Keel! How have your first days been so far?
Extremely busy! I was lucky enough to meet most of 3Keel at our away day in York and see Fera’s amazing grounds and labs. It’s been a lot to learn but 3Keel’s welcoming atmosphere has made it so fun!
What have you started working on?
I’m currently involved in the carbon footprinting of two large retailers. I’m looking forward to getting into the nitty-gritty of the data and seeing how their emissions will compare to previous years.
What are you looking forward to most about working for 3Keel?
Being able to influence a company to create a positive environmental impact on a national and global scale. I’m also excited to work with other teams and see how our niches can come together to create lasting change.
Who or what inspired you to work in sustainability?
I loved science at school, particularly climate change. But I felt the attitude towards solving it was far too defeatist. I helped my school raise enough money to provide every student a reusable water bottle and since then I knew sustainability was for me!
When you’re not working, what do you like to do?
I have just come back from two months of travelling and itching to go back! That said, when I’m home, I love to run, experiment with vegan recipes and practice Spanish.
