Tom is a founding Director of 3Keel, which is consistently listed by the Financial Times as one of the UK’s top sustainability consultancies. 3Keel is now part of Fera Science Ltd, thereby creating a unique level of end-to-end support that combines 3Keel’s advisory and consulting skills with Fera’s science and technical capabilities. Tom is also the originator of Landscape Enterprise Networks (LENs), which operates in multiple regions in the UK and Europe. LENs brings organisations together to co-fund regenerative agriculture and nature-based solutions to drive landscape resilience. Its aim is to regenerate the landscapes we all depend on.
Tom’s background is in forestry and mixed farming, interests that are reflected in voluntary work outside 3Keel. Until 2025, Tom was the long-term Chair of Trustees at the Soil Association Land Trust. He is a regular member of the organising Committee for Food and Farming Consultations at St George’s House, Windsor, and became a Trustee of Green Estate in Spring 2025. GE is one of the largest social enterprises in South Yorkshire, with a mission to grow green and resilient urban places for people and nature to thrive. In 2024, GE was named Green Innovation Business of the Year and the overall Winner of Winners in the British Chamber Business Awards.
