Annia is a Senior Consultant in 3Keel’s commodity Supply Chains team. She brings expertise in carbon, forests, biodiversity and nature to support businesses understand and address deforestation and degradation risk across their supply chains, enabling more sustainable and resilient sourcing.
Before joining 3Keel, Annia worked at the intersection of nature, science and business, helping companies understand their impacts and dependencies on nature. She has a strong background in Earth Observation and ecology, combining extensive fieldwork in tropical ecosystems, including the Amazon, Cerrado and Atlantic Forest, with spatial and data analysis to inform monitoring and sustainability strategies. She is particularly interested in translating science and data into practical decision-making to support better sustainable sourcing and improve outcomes for nature and people.
Annia holds a Bsc in Biology, an MSc in Remote Sensing from Brazil’s National Institute for Space Research (INPE), and PhD in Biodiversity and Conservation from UNESP, Brazil.
